The question to a degree is what is the correct weighting for bond/equity split.

As for your inflation analysis, there remains that inflation is below 3% in the U.S., while energy and metals have nearly trebled in price over the past year.

Until excess capacity is "drained" from the system there can be no inflation revival, never mind wage inflation -- as an aside did you see the note that one of the reasons the census bureau has not made more hires is that they are having a hard time finding qualified individuals...
